Event Details

The Clean Energy Challenge uncovers the best Midwest clean energy businesses with the potential to bring innovations to the marketplace.

This year, a total of 18 finalists will present businesses to a distinguished panel of venture capitalists, corporate investors and business leaders at the 2012 Clean Energy Challenge in Chicago. The judges will consider presentations from eight Student Challenge finalists and 10 Early Stage companies from across the region.

A total of $250,000 in prizes will be awarded. Grand prize winners in each track will receive a $100,000 prize, with five additional $10,000 state prizes available for Student Challenge finalists.

The event will take place on March 1, at Venue SIX10 in Chicago.

Don’t miss this opportunity to witness the launch of these promising new businesses. Finalists from the inaugural 2011 Clean Energy Challenge have raised a combined $12 million in venture funding to date and are now commercializing their technologies.
